Subject: [roots] 16 Month Recall

Patient came in today because he lost a inlay. He has been the first one I removed a post using scope and US.
At that time ( 3 months after spending lots of euros for my Zeiss Pico) I didn´t have a camera mounted on
the scope: so sorry, no pics. When I heard about the history of this tooth ( 5 years after "apectomy"
without symptoms) I thought it is worth to give it a try.

No fracture visible after removing the crown. only one canal treated, coronal leakage and a lot of bugs.
I didn't use MTA at that time so after C&S and CaOH2 for 2 weeks (symptoms were gone) I obturated with GP
and AH 26. Adhesive Buildup and a new crown. Yes, I know the crown is not absolutly perfect distal, but
the patients wife made it by herself ( two times) and that has been the best she could give.
( all because of saving 200 euro !!) Maybe I am a little long in the paltinal canal. But it seems to heal.

P.S. Marga, I hope i did it right - Jörg Schröder

Jörg, Very nice case and great healing - Marga
