Subject: [roots] separate Mb2

Looking at the literature, the incidence of 2 separate Mb canals is much higher than the popular perception..
stropko had it at 55%
Neaverth et al had it at 62%
my numbers are a little less at 48% (87 max first molars)
I believe 50% is a very realistic number for separate canals..
here is one form this week.
the split was at the junction of the middle and the coronal third of the root.
of course Carr's tips for the troughing...sashi nallapati

two separate MB2
weine type III and IV? or III only? - Kendel type III mostly...Sashi Nallapati I just miss all the fours ;) Kendel
