From: Bill Watson To: ROOTS Sent: Saturday, April 07, 2001 17 44 Subject: [roots] Re: finding the 4th canal, it's always there. I'm pressing my luck to think I may be able to get out an email. I've only received a total of 10 emails from IDF and ROOTS this week. The attached images were taken using a Nikon Coolpix 950 on an Optique microscope using a xenon light source. Notice that image #5 is a bit cloudy. I turned down the scope light to see the effect it would have on the image and it was a tad dark so I lightened it in Photoshop. I should have sized the images larger. This is tooth #15 that I treated yesterday. I found four canals in 100% of the 2nd molars I treated yesterday. Of course, I only treated one 2nd molar yesterday!
