Subject: [roots] hack to pieces
Just want to post an interesting and taught case. This patient came just before New Year vacation. The tooth was very
painful in spite of NSAIF and antibiotic during several days (the patient himself was the dental surgeon)
First of all I found ML missed which has joined with MB in the apical third. Post factum I have realized that I could
hack the silver point in MB. And that exactly what has happened. I pulled the silver point out looked at it and it
fell to pieces before I could say Jack Robinson. Devil’s own luck! Today I finished it and looking forward to see
recall in 6 months. Best regards from Moscow - Ilya
Well done, Ilya - Jörg
Ilya, good case, good new shape! - Leandro
Leonardo, Jorg! Thank you for your replies.
Silver points endotreatment is not so common to our region. So my mistake wasn’t carelessness but inexperience.
I’m afraid to suggest what I would do if the small silver part remains in the apex - Ilya
