Subject: [roots] calcified canals

Since i left the program here are all the cases that I treated that are calcified
I would not do any access without the dam unless its a calcified anterior tooth or round
house bridge for orientation.all these cases I made my access and found the canal ,
then placed the dam. all these cases had prior accesses by clinicians that had no business
doing what they did. I need to do a case selection seminar quickly. munce burs from
www.cjmengineering.com are good burs that can help you get deeper in the canal without
blocking your access. I used them in these cases with good results - sashi nallapati

Hi Sashi, Do you use these burs in a crown-down (large to small size) fashion? How do you compare using the burs vs. ultrasonic troughing? - Tony Wu Hi Tony, I used the smallest size in these cases as the accesses were already made by the referring dentists. these are faster compared to the ultrasonics. and so far I find them not blocking my vision while working . - Sashi Nallapati
