Subject: [roots] RCT/NSRCT on upper molars - opinions are welcome
I want to share with you a case that was a hard one for me in many ways!
Male patient, 45 years old, needed retreatment of tooth 1.7 and RCT of tooth 1.6. Very curved canals,
difficult access to the teeth and so on... and I have to admit I made a big mistake - I've fractured
a PathFile in MB2 in the first upper molar. The reason of the fracture is that I didn't appreciate the
curvatures and forced a little bit the file! Anyway, the two canals join at the apex (2mm from the foramen)
so I think there won't be a biological problem. That error I didn't make on the second upper molar.
Any advice, comment, critics or anything is very welcome! - Bojidar Kafelov
