Subject: [roots] Cracked tooth, need help!!!

Today I had a case started easier and finished with difficult decision - How to treat this tooth -
extraction or no? Patient - female - without any complaints. There isn`t pocket. I chose to re-treat
the tooth, because we`ll put braces and change old inaccurate crown. When I started root canal re-treatment
I found crack - almost invisible. It`s started from distal to 2-3 mm under orifice. The color of canal
is brown-black (resourcin-formalin paste) and i don`t how deep in the canal is the crack.
help me to choose how to treat the tooth - extraction or root canal re-treatment and crack`s sealing, or...?
(excuse me for my bad, bad English) - Dr. Rossen Venelinov

Hello Dr. Venelinov As there is no perio probing I would go for complete endo treatment, and just fill all the distal root with MTA. Then no post on that tooth, just a composite core and immediate temporization. Keep posting the follow ups please!! - Carlos Heilborn, Paraguay
