Subject: [roots] Cracked tooth

Due to the isolated deep probing defect in conjunction with a
relatively nice looking previous root canal treatment, I suspected
at the consultation that this was a fx'd tooth and unfortunately
for the patient this is what it turned out to be.

My question is for you Resilon users, is that what this material is?
It had a silver-white type color as you can see by the photo.
Just curious. The chloroform softened it very similar to gp.
I've never retreated one of these resin cases before and was curious
if that was what I was dealing with. Based on the dense radiopacity
I assume that's what it is - Mark

From the radioopacity I think it might be mark. If so, handle it just as you would g.p. it comes out just as easily - gary
