Endo finished today. Very small mouth and upper second molar. Size 60 palatal 35 (40 to 1/2 mm of wl). System was Resilon
Simplefill on palatal and squirt on mesials. I back filled all and also did PacMac on mesials and re back filled. Placed a
bonded Simile Composite BU. - Alan Cady
PS as a side bar: Patient has thought for years she was allergic to locals including Lidocain. I was not sure and
suggested a referral for allergy tests. She did not want to. Well, when you have the 'stuff' to treat problems, some get
stupid. I did a skin scratch test with NO problems TWICE. I then placed a small amount as infiltration. and observed. Next
time I did a PS infiltration and opened a hot vital tooth and placed CaOH. this is the finish.
She had a 'reaction' 30 + years ago and was told never to have local again. Seems like someone may
sorry for being ignorant but whats a skin scratch test??? - sanjay
Actually it should read scratch the skin test. I take a small Moor's disk, lightly scratch the skin to red and place a
small local soaked Band-Aid onto the spot. I don't know if this is a proper way, but I really did not feel she had a true
Lidocain allergy. - Alan
