It is addressed to both general practitioners and specialists, covering all aspects of Endodontic treatments from the basic biology and microbiology to the latest technologies in the field of root canal shaping, chemical preparation and obturation. The course will be divided in several parts covering lectures, demonstrations and hands-on courses. The guidelines are set according to international standards. - Rotary nickel-titanium instruments are the basic tools in the mechanic preparation of the root canal. Overview of various file adequate sequences of canal preparation, especially in the apical third. Second generation of NiTi alloy and Twisted File, Biology of root canal preparation, mechanical disruption of biofilm, enlargement of the apical diameter in compliance with the international standards and depending on the geometry of the root and the anatomical complexity of the canal. - A step by step demonstration on the use of new materials with different obturation techniques will be conducted. - Scientific grounds behind modern irrigation protocols and outcomes of comparative research will be discussed. - Various irrigation protocols and latest techniques will be taught keeping in mind the mind blowing advances happening in Endodontics. COURSE DESCRIPTION MICROSCOPIC DENTISTRY Working comfortably is not a luxury; it’s a necessity for a dentist`s health and longevity of the practice. Serious neck, shoulder and upper back pain are a frequent occurrence in dentists and forces early retirement. All the years of learning, skill acquisition and investment are worth nothing if one cannot hold up to the physical demands of the dental profession. We live in the era of minimally invasive dentistry (MID). Sacrificing the tooth structure even in microns is a heinous crime. Prevention, Interception, Conservation, Precision, Perfection, Performance and Esthetics are the buzzing words in dentistry today. Ergonomics and MID go hand in hand with Microscope Enhanced Dentistry. The Benefits of microscope is Magnified Image, Brilliant Illumination, Better Posture, Improved Comfort, Increasing Precision, Improved Dental Care, Additional Treatment Options and Improved Profitability. Along with teaching microscope use, many exclusive treatment methodologies will be taught in different fields of dentistry thus widening the range of treatment option. This course expands the scope by improving diagnosis and additional treatment options and also stimulates a dentist to be innovative in his work, thus making dental profession more complete. EVENTS
