Einstein implant #3

From: Fred Barnett To: ROOTS Sent: Friday, February 27, 2009 1:34 AM Subject: [roots] Einstein implant #3 (1st one :-) from one of my first year residents....Fred This pt presented for RCT #3 with CC of "my tooth hurts when I bite down and let go". Upon access, noted an extensive crack extending from M to D along the floor of the chamber. Tooth was non-restorable. EXT/graft #3 in August 08. Implant placed last week. Tried a different type of suturing but didn't like it. Nice to try something different, but I would do a regular interrupted suture looking back. Pt came back 2 days ago for sutures removal. Will do stage 2 in 3 months - Melissa
