Subject: New patient of the day

I saw this patient yesterday... She asked if i remove implants.
... yeah, sure :-))

The reconstruction was done ca 2 years back in Germany by a
German professor specialist in prosthetic dentistry.

Occlusion never felt right from the beginning... they adjusted
it multiple times, it kept breaking, they kept adjusting up till
the point they told her it should be left like this and no more
treatment is necessary.

Now she presents with TMD - pain all the head and neck... pain on
masseter palpation... whatever...

I will start with splint therapy to get her comfortable...
But what am i supposed to to with all this titanium crap???!
Would you guys ever opt for removal of everything, grafts, new
implants and new reconstruction? Or just redo the pros? Or just
leave her in lifelong orthotic? - Dmitri
