Interesting case, would like the groups thoughts.
This was referred to me with the accompanying radiograph attached.
The referral slip simply said, " UL1 has a large post close to the apex, I have been unable to remove the bridge
although I fractured the porcelain" That was all the info I got. Where do we go next? - Bill
Hi Bill, maybe the crown and the post are one solid piece. In that case you would have to reduce the crown/post to
a pin as thin as I match, removed the post, do the endo, and place a new post and send back to referral. Just
a normal job, except that it'll probably take you twice as long. So be sure to set your fee high enough - Winfried
