Subject: [roots]

These x-rays and ct are of a young man 14.5 years old.
He fell at age 6.5 and the 2 teeth damaged were the upper central incisors.
He has been complaining of discomfort in the 22 area(sorry some of my x-rays
were loaded incorrectly),his dentist who was not the dentist who attended
to him until a year ago could not find anything wrong!

He presented to me with a large buccal swelling slightly below the gingival
margin on tooth 22, which had not altered after a week of antibiotics.

None of the teeth responded to ethyl chloride.
The canal on 11 is almost obliterated, the 21 has internal resorption and
the 22 has a perforation resorptive defect (see ct cuts 14,15)

My treatment recommendations are to fill 22 with MTA,21,MTA and 11 to do
a regular root canal(gutta percha) before the canal completely obliterates.

Do rooters think that filling 22 solely with MTA is possible or should a
flap be raised immediately or later. - Solly Bergman
