Lower First Molar Cases: single canal in mesial root

From: Javier Pascual To: ROOTS Sent: Friday, June 20, 2008 4:39 PM Subject: [roots] Lower First Molar Cases From this month. I have never seen before a lower first molar with a single canal in mesial root, maybe I forgot someting... A few days later I found this middle mesial.

This is quite interesting. I have never seen or read about mesial root of a lower first molar with only one canal system. It does look pretty centrally located and the anatomy of the chamber looks right with regards to the orientation of the two canal systems. Maybe an offangle x-ray would shed even more light on the matter. - Yass Hi Very good cases Javier. Very well documented. Just one question: what was the method to determine working length? Hope to see you again here. - JosÚ Sacramento Thank you JosÚ, working lenght was determined with electronic apex locater (Root ZX) and confirmed with radiographs. Yass I don┤t have offangle radiographs. No excuse, I should have taken them. - Javier Pascual
