Subject: [roots] long one

One from this morning. Nothing special but was a second bicuspid that was 26 mms long. Had one hell of a time getting
patent on the buccal and ended up with a patency with a 10 file...could not get to the 20 I like...for some reason would
not make the bend. 3, 4, 5 are all set for crowns but the crown on 4 may have to wait because that MB apex on the first
molar has a lesion. That will be the next shot. I'll do temp crowns cemented permanently until we get all permanent
ones...finances are an issue.

Handfiles to a 20 except patency on buccal, ProTaper to a F1 and apexes finished to 35. Self etch Epiphany with System A.
I obviously got pretty good hydraulics on the buccal because I pushed a bit of sealer out a #10 patency. The palatal cusp
was paper thin so we placed a #2 Unicore with Build It. Tooth was already built up with Simile. Not really tough but
long for an upper bi. 2 was cracked and I fear it may be a goner. Endo is about a year old on it...no change in
radioleucency. Guy

If you get a chance could you post BW after the restorations are done? - Roy Bloom DDS Sure but they are probably going to be permanently cemented temps due to the need for endo on 3. Finances are an issue here. Also, #2 will lost eventually and he's going to need three badly. Guy W. Moorman, Jr. DDS
