Subject: [roots] resorption-cbct
Hi all, The PA shows mesial and distal root resorption, whereas the CBCT clearly shows the true extent of the resorption
....circumferentially.
The treatment is still the same....Ca(OH)2. But it will be quite interesting to follow-up with the CBCT in 6-12 months.

Fred: I apologize if this sounds dumb but I have alot of trouble reading this radiograph. Is tooth #8 the one that is
resorbing (#9) looks very short root wise.
What was the history here and how old is the patient.
Finally the bottom cross section is also tough for me to read. Is there anything on the lower slices that is of value.
I see the resorption on the vertical cross section at the apex , but not the lower ones.
Can someone lead me to the promised land? - Glenn
Glenn, Tooth #8 has the resorption and tooth #9 has arrested developmet....both from repeated traumatic events.
The last picture shows circumferential resorption - Fred
Here is another pic for you Glenn - Fred
