   invites articles/reports in English

Subject: International Journal of Dental Anthropology IJDA

Dear members of Dental India...
***************************************
International Journal of Dental Anthropology IJDA publishes articles
on topics such as Attrition, Occlusion, Morphology, Odontometry,
Pathology, Growth and Development and Cultural Treatment topics,
treated from the clinical,bioanthropological, bioarchaeological,
genetic and evolutionary focus.

Dental Anthropology is not a well-known field of research in the
world due to its recent specialization as a Bioanthropological subdiscipline.

In the investigations of current and past human groups, the dental
system analysis is too useful to solve current Anthropological problems.

Studies of dental morphology can help us to solve queries related to
individual aspects like Sex, Age, Diet, Oral Disease and Anomalies in
Development and Growth stages, even the Identification of N.N´s in
forensic contexts and group aspects from special morphological traits analysis
like contacts among groups, migrations, geographic and genetic isolations, etc.
tied to studies of Human Population and Osteological Biology.

Submissions (articles or reports) may be in English or Spanish.
Authors should submit an original and two copies of their manuscripts
(including all figures, tables, references and notes),
along with an abstract in both English
and Spanish, to the editor.

International Journal of Dental Anthropology IJDA (ISSN 0124-7336) is
published in July by

Reply To Dr. Praveen,

Apropos your mail regarding resin bonded bridges. If you could spell out in
more detail what exactly you want to know about resin bonded bridges. I have
used Panavia from J. Morita and it has given excellent results. I have also
used other composite luting cements from other companies but I think Panavia
is the best. However, it is expensive. Regards,
Dr. Veerendra Darakh

re: request for information cryo therapy/surgery

you will find literature re cryotherapy in review of management of
trigeminal neuralgia and also small vascular/ heamangiomatous lesions.
we in UK regularly use cryo for coagulation in trigeminal neuralgia
and lip/mucosal heamangioma like lesions.(no histological confirmation
at times). My data shows good cure rate low morbidity.i have not analised or
published any data. welcome more feedback from you . kishore

This is a very interesting question! I have heard of this application

However, the Medline site offers a number of articles on cryosurgery and
dentistry. Many are from the early nineties and earlier. Perhaps this is a
good place to start.
