Mental Nerve Proximity - 7 year recall Bicuspid

From: Terry Pannkuk To: roots Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2012 6:58 AM Subject: [roots] Mental Nerve Proximity - 7 year recall Bicuspid Here’s a bicuspid I treated 7 years ago and recalled today. It was also recalled at 2 years (2007). The video capture of the transverse slicing and one of the 3-D shows a humungous mental nerve in very close proximity to the root apex. At the time of obturation I thought I may have slipped some extra gp through the apex, but it was probably a resorbable column of sealer since it was gone 2 years later. Overfilled gp usually takes longer to resorb unless this guy has some real aggressive macrophages. I thought this one was interesting to share. - Terry Mental Nerve Proximity
