Subject: [roots] MUNCE DISCOVERY BURS
Asymptomatic tooth. Ortho treatment just finished. Patient is not happy with the color. GP treatment plan:
endo + internal bleaching. GP canīt locate canal and patient is referred to my office.
Since access patient is sensitive when having hot drinks. No percussion and normal probing. Preop radiograph
show a calcified RCS in the coronal third.
Remove split and make a bigger access. Dark spot in lingual side. Tried with fluorescein (unable to take a
proper picture with ultraviolet) Centered and off-angled radiographs to confirm proper orientation.
Just go 2 or 3 mm down with munce 34 mm #1 and voila... No vital pulp tissue there - Javier Pascual
