Subject: [roots] First Scan
How's this for a first scan on our Kodak. My assistant said her former employer did this endo 20 years ago.
She's always been "aware" of the tooth but said it didn't really hurt. I took a PA of it in 2008 which is
attached. I had noted the furcation radiolucency but didn't think it was enough evidence to retreat given
her subtle symptoms and no signs of PA radiolucencies even though the canals were filled grossly short.
The perio was fine. What should I think now? - Terry
it looks like a perf to me - at the entry in the palatal canal. i mean distal:) - Sergiu
what a fantastic tool!! Yes, I Itīs a strip perforation. And itīs not very clear in that slice but maybe
MBII not treated previously.
May I use this slide? Of course with full atribution - Javier Pascual
Sure - Terry
the dentine wall is either very very thin or perforated. I had a case like that myself - August
Looks like a missed MB2 as well. - Awesome!! - Fred
Terry, Do you still retreatament a consideration? - Joey D
We are planning a nonsurgical retreat. Clearly an MB2 was missed. The PA's seem to show the inadequacies
of the obturation in more detail because of the better resolution, but it's amazing how unequivocal
the perf was. She still likes her former employer though and thought he was a nice guy. :):):) - Terry
Terry, I wonder what she's gonna think of u if she has a flare-up :):) - Amir
