Subject: [roots] overfill with Epiphany
Came to me from a nice young ladies office who was having problems and the
patient was in pain and she couldn't get them any number.
They were in pain because she had massively over filed the distal and the
reason she couldn't get to the apex of the mesial is obvious. She did not
own an EAL so the over operation. I had a hell of a time getting a reading
on the distal but the mesial read easily. The radiographic apex was shorted
than the broken 15 Profile. I didn't know that they made 15 ProFiles.
I don't know what their function would be.
Anyway, Jeff, I got a nice overfill/big puff that may or may not be in the
mandibular canal. Also found a middle mesial. All canals have on orifice
short of the broken file. I think that apex was a nexus of many canals rather
than one on the mesial. She'd never heard of a middle mesial. Well, heck,
neither had I until I joined ROOTS. I might should have filled the distal
with MTA.
Patient was having discomfort but it was from the over operation and not
overfill. Sorry for that last radiograph. Monday and no one had worked on
the processor. I don't have but six people to do that. Guy
