There is a very interesting discussion on another forum about the
ability to generate papilla in this case. I know what my opinion
is. I think this is an excellent teaching case so I’m posting it
here. Any ideas? - Gary

Wouldn't a four unit FPD on implants in the lateral incisor spots
be better? - Dan Shalkey
A 6u bridge on canines and forget the implants would have been
better imho. Implants in the central positions with cantilevered
ovate pontics would have been better imho. Your solution would
have been better. Nearly any other treatment option would have
been better imho. Implants appear to be closer than 3mm to each
other, bone level is significantly above adjacent cej’s. imho,
this case is going to be a cosmetic nightmare a few years down
the road.
One needs to be extremely careful shoving in titanium in the
aesthetic zone. Not every space needs to have its titanium
deficiency relieved - gary
Gary, I like Dan’s plan better but why not zirconia here?
We are in the esthetic zone. Procera or Katana produce
beautiful results - Guy
The treatment planning phase was certainly not optimal in this case.
There is so much more to doing implants than drilling holes in bone
and screwing in titanium - Fred
