Dr Praveen gratuated from Madras Dental College in the year 1982. He completed his MDS (Oral Surgery)from Madras Dental College in 1991 from Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai. He has delivered several lectures, done hands-on-courses and Clinical hands on courses in Implantology. Underwent Special training in Germany and Holland in Implants and in GBR.
His professional activities include General Dentistry, Specialist Oral Surgery,cases including trauma; both under general anesthesia & local anesthesia. He currently uses Frialitt II system in oral implantology. Lectured at several centres in India on Oral Implantology. Familiar with IMZ, Wiess Blades, Bi-Cortical Screws and the ITI systems. Also performing advanced procedures of bone augmentation, sinus lift, bone splitting and bone condensation techniques.
An Internet addict, Dr Praveen has undergone several courses in Computers. Conducted about 50 camps for Dental Health as part of social service. Past Secretary & Treasurer of IDA , Chennai branch, President- Chennai IDA branch(1998-99). Organised several conferences and seminars in Chennai under CDE Program. Member of Association of Oral & Maxillo- Facial Surgeons of India, Indian Society of oral implantology and Founder member of the Indian Academy of Implant Dentistry. Attended several CME/CDE programs, Seminars & Conferences in India and abroad - Oral Surgery, Implantology and General Dentistry.
Born on 25th December 1959 ,Dr Praveen is interested in Music and outdoor games and won several awards in sports and published several articles in Indian Journals . During under-gratuate career won several awards and Distinctions.
