Subject: [roots] post operative discomfort
I completed the root canal on the upper left first molar 2 months ago,not often that I see a molar with such premolar
like shape, found only 2 canals, one buccal and one palatal which joined 2 mm from apex.Slight overfill of cement.
She can function perfectly on the tooth except if she eats something very hard or if I percuss it with a mirror it is
significantly more painful than the surrounding teeth.
I explained that there is pressure from the extruded cement ,probably on the sinus floor and that it will probably get
better with time.
Should I consider a redo or am I correct in waiting.? - Solly
