Subject: [roots] retreatment 22
Yesterday, I had to do a retreatment of 22 witch had also surgically been treated.
Trough the reading and seeing all the cases on roots I started and thought that I had to get out
the amalgam, it worked.
I got the amalgam stop out the canal, with the ultra sonic, I cleaned and rinsed the canal and made an MTA filling.
The patient will come later this week to accomplice the treatment because the MTA has to harden before I will make
a proper filling - Rob Kroese
I couldn’t open the file myself. Here the file with again with the foto’s of retreatment of the 22.
Boy 26 years, first time the dentist did an rct was 13 years ago.
I got the patient of referral dentist, to do a retreatment if possible.
I was lucky to get the amalgam out so after shaping and rinsing I could fill the canal with MTA.
But what the most important is that by ready and seeing all the cases on roots I got inspired to get
amalgam out otherwise I don’t think I would have done it this way - Rob Kroese
