Red russian retreatments

Subject: [roots] i've beaten red russian before, i am beating it now again.
To me, red russian retreatments are by far the most toughest retreatments of all.
Since i live in an est-european country, i deal with a lot of red russian teeth.
With time i developed a special tehnicqe, a little bit dangerous.
I am cutting hand files, 1 mm at tip in a 45 degree angle and i bend them.
they become a fierceful weapon, red russian doesn't has a chance.
Sergiu,
I would be interested to hear more about your technique. Are these K-file or hedstroms,
what sizes, and what is your sequence to get through the material?
Have you tried the D1 file in the ProTaper series? It has an aggressive active cutting
tip that my local sales rep said would be good for Russian Red.
I have done only one, which fortunately was poorly done and mostly unset below the orafices.
I'd like to be better prepared for the next one.... Thanks! Rob Corr
Hi Sergiu,
can you please post a pic of those files?
can you please descibe in detail how you use those files?
just one to create a path? by hand or engine driven? solvents?
Please tell us more! Thanks, - Winfried
I'll post tomorow the hand files, how i cut them, how i use them and some advices
on how to use them. Thank you for your patience. - Sergiu Nicola
