Before he came to me, another colleague had done the initial endo, but he had only been able to locate 2 canals. He didn't spend much time either on his BU of cavit.......... It took me 1 session to make a decent BU of composite and locate the 2 other canals, 1 session to instrument the extremely curved, long and calcified canals (DB and MB 1 and 2 were 25 mm) and the last one to fill them. The patient is an extreme gagger, I just couldn't make decent rads, whatever I did, every trick I could think of, he could not hold the rad without gagging. We were all extremely relieved when we had finished the case, I don't envy the GP who is going to make the crown! Marga
wow! I have sweat on my brow just reading this ;-)) - Kendel Dear Marga, I am so glad this patient came to you and not to me :-) I would like to ask how you managed to keep patency and get such wonderful deep shape on this very hard tooth ? I am always looking for your posts, this one is excellent just like all the rest, - Thomas Everytime I start getting cocky about how great my endo is, you post a case, miss marga, and I am immediately humbled and brought back to earth. This thing is a thing of beauty. I’m going to go back now and stare at the final rad for a while longer. I shudder to think what you might have accomplished under more favorable conditions. Outstanding. - Gary
