Subject: [roots] Sinus Beach Ball
Yesterday evening we had a holiday party at our office for our referrals and friends.
For entertainment we started scanning the guests we had performed endo on to demonstrate
the CBCT. This is the husband of a local dentist who I did endo on about 8 years ago (#2).
#2 was fine but we noted this "beach ball" sized lesion that seems to be sinus path
associated with the palatal root of #3. He's checked in and is being seated in a chair
right now so I can test the vitality to rule out endo. He had mentioned a history of
chronic sinus symptoms but wasn't sure whether they were unilateral.Interesting - Terry
Almost certainly it is a retention cyst, but other causes must be ruled out, too !
Almost certainly this one is not of dental origin :-) - Valeri Stefanov
