Subject: [roots] split root/Implant
Here's a molar I extracted 4 months ago after exploring a poorly treated failing endo. It had a split mesial root
possibly due to spreader loading from the orginal endo treatment. The Wam Key was used to pop of the crown and the
roots can be resected more pristinely if you can keep the dam on by "clamping deep". The mesial root cracked and was
drilled out. with a veternarian length round bur (30mm).
I placed the implant on Friday. (Nobel Biocare Replace Select Straight, 5.0 x 11.5). Plenty of high quality thick
bone, no grafting - Terry
Hi Terry, Can you kindly send me this case as individual jpgs? I am giving a lecture to endo program directors on
indications for implants by endodontists and can use a few extra cases - - Fred
hi terry, did you place an immediate loading implant or grafted the site and placed implant later on.
