62 years old man with swelling in d22 region. 6 months ago d22 was extracted, no problems associated with healing
wasn’t marked. 2 month ago was made partial denture for the upper jaw, no problems according to this point too.
The dull pain became some days before and last night was the worse one, when rapid swelling was occured.
I was poked with probe into sinus tract and removed thin epithelial layer, large portion of pus came from pocket.
Gp n 25 was placed in sinustract until it moving was limited. After some pics, i was started with managment and was
surpriced, when noticed, that periapical curette has been changed a direction to anterior region of cortical lamella.
The alveoli was absolutely intact after incision, that give me a chance to predict that infection lays under periost
of submucous layer. D 21 and 23 without subjective complaints. Objectevely d21 post and crown little apical lesion.
D23 caries. What can be a cause of this burst? What can we do for obvious diagnose? - Mihhail Botsinski
