Subject: [roots] Another day and another TF retreat

Poor kid (10 y.o.) was in pain with a diffused radiating pain to his
nose and eyes with slight swelling of his upper lip.
I bet the previous dentist thought the fill is just cosmetic and it
would heal too. Well it did!
albeit only 8 months!
Being clueless sure has its advantages...))
#9 percussion tender and painful to palpation.

inadequate previous endodontic treatment with CAP.
Revision endodontic therapy with interim buildup until orthodontia
completed in 4-5 years.

Removed the junk from the canal and I was staring at a size 100 canal.
Ca(OH)2 the canal...all his symptoms were alleviated in less than 2 weeks
Apical MTA plug placed and obturated the remainder of the space with
GP and Kerr sealer.

we just charged for endo and the Post/BU was on that house...since I
hated myself for placing such a poor post...((

Mother didn't object! - ahmad

What a great service for the patient Ahmad! BTW, I discovered a nice addition to the current fiber posts. In these immature roots, the space is usually too big for even the fattest post. There is a product from RTD, it's called fiber cones , I will post an example. - Marga Great case and great discussion. I have question, what is that green material that you are using to help you sealing around the tooth? is it the oraseal?? the other question, what are the alternatives to oraseal in sealing any leakage around the tooth? something which can be found easily. thank you - Endo dentist The material is called "Liqui-Dam " from Discus dental which h is used for In-Office-whitening procedure. However, the best material for sealing broken down teeth, bar none, is Dycal that Dr. Pannkuk uses routinely. I am not fond of Ora seal...I find it too porous...it catches all kind of junk and crud which makes scope photography sloppy and poor in my opinion. Next to needing a tight seal for irrigation and disinfection, you also need a very clean field when photographing your cases...from rubber dam, clamp and isolated teeth..Look at Marga, Jörg , Glenn or Carlos Murgel cases for reference - ahmad
