Hello Dr. Borksman:
I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, since it didn't cause resorption ( thank goodness )
Personally, I have done roughly about 30 cases with the same protocol and never have seen a resorption with sodium
perborate. However I have heard that superoxol, 30% H2O2 and high concentration ( 35% and above ) of sodium carbamide
sold by various companies for in-office whitening has caused root resorption when utilized as internal bleaching.
I have attached a case involving treatment of 2 anterior teeth.#8 received sodium perborate as a walking bleach
to whiten it after the endodontic treatment was completed.
The pictures show complete coverage of the coronal extension of gutta percha with a flowable composite before
placing Na Perborate. hope this helps. - ahmad
