Subject: [roots] triple retreatment
This is nothing unusual for most of you, but it is a good example of quick and cheap treatment.
This patient, 45yo woman was referred from prosthodontist to retreat upper second premolar and
2 molars (third molar will be extracted). No serious complaints only discomfort after chewing,
when food comes into interdental spaces.
Removed these ugly fillings and posts. Canals earlier treated with resorcine-formaline-ZnOeugenol mix.
Nice anatomy, both molars 4 canals, premolar-2 canals. Irrigation: NaOCl, CXD, citric acid, shaping
with protaper and race instruments(finished with 25.06 in small , and 35.06 in wide canals).
Ca(OH)2 for 2 weeks in each. Filled with warm gutta percha(Shilder's technique).
