Subject: [roots] anyone see anything here
This is a case driving me nuts. Iíve send 3 images, one from pre trauma 2009, one at time of trauma 4-10,
and one from today. Pt cc is intermittent discomfort after her dog banged into her in april. Tooth #8.
I found no evidence to treat in April, patient reported today pain went away, but tooth symptomatic this
past week. Of course not today. Perio is excellent, pocket depths 1.5mm. no mobility. Pulp test positive.
Bur test positive. No discoloration. No traumatic occlusion. I have not taken a cbct at this point.
Only thing I question is possibility of root fracture. Negative to percussion both vertically and horizontally.
What am I missing? Fred, any ideas? This is a very nice, very intelligent long term patient, excellent historian.
Any help greatly appreciated. - gary
