Subject: [roots] Ripley's believe it or not - this was a vital case.
This upper right lateral incisor amazed me.
The tooth had some shallow restaurations, way too far from the pulp chamber. And yet, huge lesion.
I had a hunch, after performing all the vitality tests possible(, cold/hot/electric - all negative),
i started doing access cavity without anesthesia - no pain whatsoever until i reached the pulp floor
and mild opened it - then the patient started to feel pain.
I placed RD - performed RCT in one visit and that's all.
Which one of all rooters would have believed this one was a vital case? - Sergiu
