Subject: [roots] The value of magnification
Hi there folks: This patient came in yesterday. I have radiographs in the office not here.
He was complaining of the premolar ( no restorations) and when I looked there was severe perio on the molars
( first and second) and a bridge in front of the premolar.
Percussion was really negative on all of them.
He was eating a "Dorito" chip.
Note how much you see when you increase the magnification and also how much you see when you use Methylene Blue Dye.
This is not my regular camera setup so I apologize for the photos but you get the idea.
What a terrible time I had getting the tooth out......miserable tooth.
Will post a radiograph tomorrow if I have time. - Glenn
